Things to Consider

• There is no harm in heating porcelain in the heater sections of ovens and microwave ovens. However, direct contact of porcelain products with bare fire, except fire-resistant porcelain, creates a shock effect on the porcelain and breaks.
• If your porcelain is decorated with gold, platinum or gilding, it should not be used in microwave ovens.

• Porcelains can be used in deep freezers with the same confidence, but if the porcelain that comes out of the freezer or refrigerator is put into the oven immediately, the porcelain will break due to the sudden temperature change.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Cream and liquid detergents can be used.
• After washing, it should be rinsed with water and dried.
• It should not be cleaned by rubbing with harsh cleaning agents or wire. (like the hard surface of a dish sponge) should not be washed with bleach and similar chemicals.
• It is recommended to wash by hand the products that use intense gold, platinum and gilding in the decoration of porcelain.
