Sale Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Turkhome Furniture — in-store or online at www.turkhome.ca — you agree to the following terms covering orders, payment, delivery, returns, exchanges, and warranty. Please also review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Orders & Payment

In-store orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment or a signed purchase agreement. Online orders are confirmed only when we issue an Order Confirmation email — placing an item in your cart or completing checkout does not create a binding contract until we send this confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order prior to confirmation, including in cases of pricing errors, inventory unavailability, or suspected fraud.

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Full payment is required prior to delivery or pickup. We accept credit and debit cards, e-transfer, and financing through Flexiti and Affirm (subject to credit approval). In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

We may request additional identification or payment verification to prevent fraudulent transactions. Orders that cannot be verified may be cancelled, and the Customer will be notified.

Cancellations, Pre-Orders & Custom Orders

Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 48 hours of placing the order. Cancellations requested after 48 hours but before delivery will incur a 15% booking/restocking fee based on the order total. Custom orders and final sale items cannot be cancelled.

Pre-order items require a deposit at the time of order. Deposits on pre-order items are non-refundable after 48 hours. Custom orders (including custom fabric, size, or configuration) require a non-refundable deposit, and once production begins, custom orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or returned.

Estimated timelines for pre-orders and custom orders are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as we become aware of them.

Delivery & Inspection

We offer free delivery within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with white-glove installation on qualifying orders. Delivery outside the GTA may be subject to additional charges. Delivery timelines are estimates only — we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including port strikes, shipping carrier delays, customs processing, severe weather, or other force majeure events.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all items will fit through entrance doors, interior doors, hallways, stairways, and elevators. We recommend measuring all access points before ordering. If an item cannot be delivered due to access issues, the Customer will be responsible for any re-delivery fees. Driveways, walkways, and indoor pathways must be clear and safe for our delivery team. A re-delivery fee will apply if delivery cannot be completed due to obstructed or unsafe conditions. The Customer is also responsible for the removal and disposal of all packaging materials after delivery and installation.

The Customer must inspect all items at the time of delivery. Any visible damage, defects, or discrepancies must be reported immediately to the delivery team and documented before signing off. Claims for damage reported after delivery confirmation will not be accepted unless covered under the manufacturer warranty. For online orders delivered by third-party carriers, inspect items upon receipt and report any transit damage within 24 hours by emailing Support@turkhome.ca with photos of the damage and packaging.

Returns & Exchanges

Items may be exchanged or returned within 7 calendar days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee, both calculated on the item's purchase price. To be eligible, items must be in their original condition — free from stains, odours, pet hair, damage, or any signs of use. Items that do not meet this standard may be refused or subject to additional deductions.

The Customer is responsible for return shipping or pickup costs unless the return is due to a defect covered under warranty. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item, to the original method of payment.

Warranty

All products carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, negligence, unauthorized modifications, commercial use, normal wear and tear, or exposure to extreme conditions. To make a warranty claim, contact Support@turkhome.ca with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if approved, arrange repair or replacement at our discretion.

Colour & Material Variations

We make every effort to display product colours, textures, and dimensions accurately on our website. However, due to variations in screen settings, lighting, and photography, actual products may differ slightly from what is shown online. Minor variations in colour, grain, or texture between items of the same product are inherent characteristics of the materials used and are not considered defects. If colour accuracy is a priority, we encourage you to visit our showroom or request a live video call before purchasing.

Storage Fees & Final Sale

Orders must be collected or scheduled for delivery within 14 calendar days of availability notification. After 14 days, a storage fee of $25.00 per week (or part thereof) will apply. Orders not claimed within 60 days may be considered abandoned, and we reserve the right to dispose of or resell those items, with any applicable refund reduced by accumulated storage fees and the 30% restocking fee.

Items marked as clearance, floor models, sample pieces, or items designated as "final sale" are sold as-is and are not eligible for return, exchange, or warranty coverage. We encourage thorough inspection of these items before purchase.

Legal

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turkhome Furniture's total liability arising from or related to any order shall not exceed the purchase price of the item(s) in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, or other applicable legislation.

All content on www.turkhome.ca — including product images, descriptions, logos, and design elements — is the property of Turkhome Furniture and protected by Canadian copyright law. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. Please contact Support@turkhome.ca or call 905-828-0303 with any concerns. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes apply to orders placed after publication.
