It’s structural — the metal sweep carries the frame rather than sitting under it for looks. It also means there are no bulky legs interrupting the floor line, which is part of why the MIRAGE reads so light for a 96″ sofa.

Yes. A continuous base like this actually spreads weight more evenly than four point legs, so it’s less likely to leave deep dents in a rug or broadloom. On hard floors the metal sits flush and shows off the curve.

A luxury velvet with a dense, short pile. Velvet is what makes the colour shift as you move around the room — the same panel reads lighter from one angle and deeper from another, which is exactly why it works so well next to polished gold.

Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment and brush the pile in one direction to keep it even. Blot spills straight away with a clean, barely damp cloth — press, never rub, or you’ll crush the pile. For the gold base and plaques, a soft dry cloth only; skip household sprays, abrasive pads, and metal polishes, which can dull the finish.

All velvet shows some pile movement where people sit — it’s a characteristic of the fabric, not a defect, and it’s part of what gives velvet its depth. Brushing the pile back in one direction evens it out in seconds.

Minimal — generally just fitting the metal base. For GTA deliveries our own team handles the full installation and takes the packaging away with them.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the frame, the metal base, and the cushion structure. Normal wear, velvet pile movement, fabric pilling, or damage from misuse are not covered.
